Engineering & Design

Mechanical, electrical, and software — one toolbox

Most shops do one discipline and farm out the rest. We do all of it under one roof, which means the parts actually talk to each other. From a sketch on a napkin to a finished, field-proven product — design, electronics, firmware, fabrication, and the app to run it — it’s all the same family of engineers.

Thirty-plus years of engineering teaches you one thing above all: the hard problems live in the seams — where the mechanical meets the electrical, where the firmware meets the field, where the clever design meets the budget and the calendar.

Because we cover the whole stack ourselves, nothing falls through those seams. The enclosure is designed for the board that goes in it. The firmware is written for the mechanism it drives. The whole thing is built to be manufactured, serviced, and trusted. That’s the difference between a prototype and a product.

Disciplines

A full engineering shop, not a specialty

Pick one capability or hand us the whole project — we’re built to do either.

Mechanical design

Fusion 360 from concept through manufacturing — parts, assemblies, mechanisms, and enclosures, with the stress and fit worked out before anything is cut.

Electronics & PCB

Custom circuit design and PCB layout, from schematic to a board ready for manufacture — sensors, controls, power, and communications.

Firmware & embedded

Reliable embedded software built on FreeRTOS and proper state machines — the disciplined kind of code that has to run for years untouched.

Fabrication & welding

Full metal fabrication and welding in-house — solar racking, trailers, steel structures, trusses, and one-off assemblies.

Solar & power systems

Solar consultation, system design, and installation — sized honestly for your load, your site, and your budget.

App development

Custom Android and iOS apps for line-of-business work — the interface that ties your hardware, your data, and your crew together.

From atoms to bits

Hardware and software, designed together

A great many products fail in the gap between the people who made the hardware and the people who wrote the software. We close that gap by being the same people.

We’ll design the mechanism in CAD, lay out the board that controls it, write the firmware that runs it, 3D-print and CNC the prototype, fabricate the production version, and build the mobile app your crew uses to operate it. One team, one accountable line from idea to working device.

One team, the whole stack

Heavy equipment & site work

When the project starts with the ground itself

Engineering doesn’t always start at a desk. Sometimes it starts with a pad that needs cutting, a road that needs shaping, or a building site that needs to drain the right way. Our D7E dozer handles grading and leveling, and our large assay truck moves material by the ton.

And because the same people thinking about your foundation also understand your structure, your solar array, and your drainage, the site work serves the whole project — not just the part that’s in front of the blade today.

Grading · hauling · fabrication

“We don’t hand you a prototype and wish you luck. We engineer the thing to be built, to be sold, and to keep working after we’ve driven home.”

How we take on a project

Idea to product, the honest way

Scope

We dig into what it really needs to do, what it must cost, and when you need it.

Design

Mechanical, electrical, and software designed together, reviewed with you at each gate.

Prototype

3D-printed, machined, and bread-boarded so you can hold it and we can prove it works.

Produce

We fabricate the real thing — built to be manufactured, serviced, and depended on.

If you can describe it, we can probably build it

Whether it’s one clever part or a whole connected product, bring us the problem. We’ll tell you straight what it takes to do it right.
