A family, a shop, and thirty years of figuring it out
We’re a multi-generational family operation that grew up where self-reliance isn’t a slogan — it’s Tuesday. Over three decades we turned a habit of fixing our own problems into an engineering and fabrication business that solves them for our neighbors too.
Out here, the nearest specialist is usually an hour away and booked for three weeks. So you learn to do it yourself. You learn to weld because the trailer broke at harvest. You learn electronics because the controller died and a new one was four hundred dollars and a week of waiting. You learn to grade because the pad had to be flat before the concrete truck came.
One skill at a time, one busted thing at a time, that’s how Homestead Enterprises was built. What started as keeping our own operation running became a genuine engineering practice — software, hardware, mechanical, and electrical — backed by a shop full of iron and a yard with the equipment to match. Today we put all of it to work for farms, ranches, and rural businesses who need the same thing we always did: somebody who can actually get it done.

Why “Enterprises”?
Because one trade was never enough out here
The plural is the whole point. A homestead survives because the people on it can wear every hat — engineer in the morning, welder by noon, electrician before supper, and equipment operator when the weather finally breaks.
We carried that into the business on purpose. You shouldn’t have to coordinate three contractors and hope they agree. With us, the mechanical, the electrical, the software, and the heavy equipment all answer to the same family — so the work fits together and somebody owns the whole result.
