IoT for the Homestead
LoRaWAN and Meshtastic monitoring for tanks, gates, pumps, fences, and feed — eyes on the whole place without driving every pasture.

From the dozer blade to the circuit board, Homestead Enterprises brings real engineering, metal fabrication, heavy equipment, and modern technology to farms, ranches, and rural businesses. If it needs designing, building, fixing, or automating — odds are good it’s something we’ve done before, and done right.
Who we are
We grew up where the pavement ends. Out here you learn early that the difference between a good day and a long one is whether your equipment works and whether the person who built it actually understood the job.
Homestead Enterprises is a multi-generational family operation. Over three decades we’ve worked across software, hardware, mechanical, and electrical engineering — not as separate hats, but as one toolbox. That means the same outfit that designs your circuit board can weld your trailer, grade your pad, and write the app that keeps an eye on it all.
We take the kind of pride in our work that only comes from having to stand behind it at the feed store the next morning. No call centers, no runaround — just honest answers and equipment that earns its keep.

Learn with usHeavy iron
Some problems don’t get solved with a laptop. For those, we bring the equipment to match.
Need a building pad cut flat, a road shaped, a pond pushed up, or material moved by the ton? Our D7E dozer handles grading and leveling that smaller machines just dance around, and our large assay truck hauls material where it needs to go.
And because we’re engineers first, we don’t just push dirt — we think about drainage, grade, and what you’re going to put on that ground a year from now.
How we work
No mystery, no surprise invoices. Here’s how a project usually goes.
We start by understanding the real problem — not just the part that’s easy to describe over the phone.
We engineer a solution that fits your operation, your budget, and the way you actually work.
We fabricate, machine, code, and assemble in-house — then test it like we’re the ones who’ll depend on it.
We deliver, show you how it runs, and we’re a phone call away when you need us down the road.
Tell us what you’re trying to get done. We’ll give you a straight answer on whether we’re the right outfit — and what it’ll take to do it right.
